Dr Chelsie Bailey BSc BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Where did you qualify and when?

I qualified from the University of Bristol in July of 2022.

What are your special interests?

Prior to my veterinary degree, I did an Animal Behaviour & Welfare Science degree and am pre-CCAB. This means I am more than happy to help with behavioural issues, be that just coming into the vets to help to anxiety issues at home and love helping change these patients (& their owners’) life for the better.

I am still exploring options within the GP world of veterinary, but am enjoying all aspects that Jersey Village Vets life brings, including out of hours! I have just undertaken a foundation geriatric medicine course, so am enjoying seeing our golden oldies (or as I call them, our more experienced members of the furry world).

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The variety that we see day to day and being able to help my patients. I thoroughly enjoy a good chat with clients and working with them to help their furry friends.

What are your Hobbies?

Exploring the beautiful island! Myself and my partner are trying to learn about all the hidden gems in Jersey. I also enjoy going to the theatre, playing with my ginger cat Leo and beautiful beach walks – which Jersey has plenty of.
