Dr Chelsie Bailey
Veterinary Surgeon
Where did you qualify and when?
University of Bristol, July 2022.
What are your special interests?
Prior to my Veterinary degree, I did an Animal Behaviour & Welfare Science degree (pre-CCAB). This means I am more than happy to help with behavioural issues, be that just coming into the vets to help with anxiety issues at home, and love helping change these patients (& their owners’) lives for the better.
I am still exploring options within the GP world of veterinary, but am enjoying all aspects that Jersey Village Vets’ life brings, including out of hours!
I have just undertaken a foundation geriatric medicine course, so I am enjoying seeing our golden oldies (or, as I call them, our more experienced members of the furry world).
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The day-to-day variety, helping patients, chatting with clients, and supporting their pets.
What are your Hobbies?
Exploring the beautiful island with my partner and discovering hidden gems. I also enjoy going to the theatre, playing with my ginger cat Leo, and taking beautiful Jersey beach walks.
